Small groups help people grow in their faith and build community. Our groups take place throughout the week in different neighborhoods, so use this form to find a group that's right for you. We'd love to have you join us!
The Purpose Driven Life Dinner Small Group – Leader: Pastor Hal
Hosted and led by Pastor Hal at his home in Brookfield at 5:30 to 7:00pm on the following Tuesdays: Sept 30, Oct 7, 21, 28, Nov 4, 28. All are invited (adults only, no childcare) to share in nights of food, fellowship, and faith. First, we’ll share a delicious meal, Then, we’ll pray, study, connect and laugh as we study best selling book The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren. This is more than a book; It’s a guide to a spiritual journey that will fill you with purpose as you follow Jesus. Order your own book (the white cover) or they are available from Pastor Hal for $15.

Men’s Morning Coffee Group – Leader: Pastor Josh
This group is for men of all ages and meets at 6:30am in the conference room at church beginning September 22 to November 10. We’ll read and discuss Mark Comer’s new book, The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry: How to Stay Emotionally Healthy & Spiritually Alive in the Chaos of the Modern World. Donuts and Coffee will be provided! The book is $13 on Amazon.

Mom’s Play Group – Leader: Pastor Rachel
This group will gather either at church or another location TBD on Thursdays at 9am to 10:45am beginning 10/2, and meet every other week: 10/16, 10/30, and 11/13.

The Journey of Yes: Women’s Small Group – Leader Cassie Johnson
Join us Monday evenings, 7:00-8:30pm, as we walk through Brenda Palmer’s inspiring book, The Journey of Yes: The Everyday Adventure of Radical Obedience. Within 7 sessions, we’ll explore what it means to courageously say “yes” to God in every area of life. Overcoming fear, stepping out of comfort zones, redefining success, and learning to live with daily faith. Together we’ll uncover how obedience opens the door to peace, purpose, and the abundant blessings God has prepared for us.  The group meets September 29 to November 17 (no meeting October 27th) at Corner Bakery in La Grange. The book is available at Amazon for $12.99.

Kingdom Man Men’s Group – Leader: Brad Rodemoyer
This fall we will explore the foundations for godly manhood in The Titus Ten by J. Josh Smith. Discover how ten qualities in Paul’s short letter to his mentee Titus will help you grow in your understanding of the gospel, your identity, and your character to become the man God intends for you to be. The book is available at various retailers from $12-$15. The group meets at Brad’s home, in Western Springs, on Thursday nights at 7:00pm. We will begin our study on September 18 and conclude in early December.


Courtside Ministry – Leader: Tim De Young
Meets on Monday and Tuesday mornings at the Bridgeview Courthouse, 10220 s 76th Av, Bridgeview, at 8:30am-11:30am. This ministry reaches out and offers prayer, provides scripture, and biblical resources to people in the court system. Learn how to pray with and for people and share your faith and help bring spiritual healing to our community! 8 weeks.

Young at Heart – Leaders: Victor Burbulys and Doug Jamieson
For those 55 and wiser! The topic for this fall will be “When You Pray”, A Study of Six Prayers in the Bible. The group will meet for six consecutive Thursdays at 1:00pm in the Conference Room at Church starting October 2 and ending on November 7. Light refreshments will be served.

Healing Rain Ministry –
Leader Roberta Vinyard

A year-round women’s ministry group that meets once a month. We visit a nursing home to pray for the residents alternating with meeting at Roberta’s home to discuss various topics. The group is for women of all ages. It meets Tuesdays/Thursdays at 1:00pm.

Love and Respect Couples Group – Leaders: Maria and Mark Orsi
This group will explore biblical marriage to help couples understand and address the issues and challenges couples face in their journey together. The group meets at Maria and Marks home in Westchester for five sessions every other Friday at 6:00pm starting September 26th. The “Love and Respect Workbook” by Dr. Eggerichs is optional and can be purchased online.

Creation Care Small Group and Workshop – Leader: Craig Billington
Open to all. With scripture as our guide, this group will discuss the topic of creation and why it is important to care for it and what caring for creation means and looks like in practice. The group will be a mixture of discussion and prayer meetings, taking hikes and tours in nature, and service opportunities doing ecological restoration activities. Meets at local Forest Preserves on 7 Saturday’s beginning October 11 at 9:00am, for 2-3 hours.

The Practicing the Way Course – Leader Susan Borgstrom
Inspired by John Mark Comer’s bestselling book Practicing the Way this course is designed to lay a foundation for a lifelong walk with Jesus in the modern era. The group meets on Wednesday mornings at 9:00am to 10:45am at Susan’s home in La Grange Highlands starting September 24 to November 12. Hope Serves / Disruptive Compassion – Leaders: Natalie and Tony Sabos
If you are like many of us, you watch the injustice in the world and think, “There is nothing I can do about it.” But you are wrong. You possess the power to make meaningful changes in this world: Over 2000 years ago, Jesus set forth a model for us to move beyond helplessness to becoming a powerful source of change in the world. In this group we will read the book Disruptive Compassion by Hal Donaldson the founder of Convoy of Hope. This group will equip you to become a world changer and help you evaluate all the many opportunities to become a leader in Hope Serves and to volunteer right here in your backyard. The book is provided by Convoy of Hope; The group meets every other Sunday beginning September 28th at 5:00pm at the Sabos home in Hinsdale. The Sabos’ will provide a simple meal and share their real-world experience changing the world and discuss Hope Serves.

Holy Fire – Leader: Tim De Young 
We will study, discuss, and pray together as we read Holy Fire: A Balanced Biblical Look at the Holy Spirit’s Work in Our Lives by R.T. Kendall. In this study, we will discover 21 things we should know about the Holy Spirit. The group will meet on Friday nights from 7:00-9:00pm for 8 weeks beginning September 26 at Tim’s home in Westmont, The book is available on Amazon for $10.90.

Worship Team – Leader: Pastor Josh
Meet on Thursdays from 6:30-7:30pm (all musicians and vocalists are welcome) for an inspirational devotional message that will build up, strengthen, and encourage musicians in their ministry.

Sawdust and Scripture – Leader: Ken Kloes
Explore your faith and scripture in a fun and creative way – through woodworking! Meets roughly every other Saturday morning from 9am to 11am starting October 4th. We will do a study on Joseph the carpenter and father to Jesus. There will be a choice of projects between a small box, a small table, or small stool. BYOW.

Growing together and getting connected through small groups is a major part of our church's DNA.  Our Small Groups ministry offers a wide variety of groups catering to all ages and walks of life.  
These groups meet in 4-8 week sessions that occur three times per year;

Winter session runs from late January/early February until just before Easter.
Spring session runs for about 4-6 weeks after Easter and before summer break.
Fall session runs from about September till mid November.
