Small groups help people grow in their faith and build community. Our groups take place throughout the week in different neighborhoods, so use this form to find a group that's right for you. We'd love to have you join us! You can read the full group descriptions below this form.

Monthly Marriage Meet-Up (MMM)
Leader: Pastor Hal and Dawn

Would you like to enrich and develop your marriage? This will be a monthly Sunday night potluck dinner hosted by Pastor Hal and Dawn at their home in Brookfield from 5:30 to 7:00pm on the following dates: Feb. 22, March 22, April 12, May 17.  This group is for married and engaged couples (adults only, no childcare). Each month we’ll share a meal and learn and practice a new best practices marriage enrichment approach that will enhance any couple’s relationship. Limited to the first 10 couples. Men’s Morning Coffee Group
Leader: Pastor Josh

This group is for men of all ages and meets Monday’s at 6:30am in the conference room at church beginning February 2. This group will discuss the Sermon Notes from the preceding Sunday with an emphasis on how to apply the message to our lives and pray for each other’s needs.  Donuts and Coffee will be provided! Practicing the Way Women’s Group  
Leader: Pastor Rachel

This women’s group will study Practicing the Way by John Mark Comer. Be with Jesus. Become like him. Do as he did. The group will meet on Sunday evenings at 5-6:45pm for 8 weeks at the Kloes home starting February 15. *Please purchase the companion guide before starting.   Contact Pastor Rachel for more information.

Women’s On-Line Bible App Study
Leaders: Carin Rodemoyer & Leigh Ann Anderson

This Women’s study will use the Bible App and have two optional in-person gatherings. We will begin with the plan “From Lost to Loved: a 30-Day Study of Romans 8”, each reading the devotional on our own and sharing any thoughts and comments on the plan’s “Talk It Over” tab. The 2 optional in-person gatherings will be at the Rodemoyer’s: Friday evening, February 20th and Sunday, March 22 after church. Contact Carin at bcbtrody@comcast.net for more information.

Kingdom Man Men’s Group: Knowing God Leader: Brad Rodemoyer
This Study will help men to grow and enrich their relationship with God so that we may grow to know him better as we strive to become a reflection of his character. The group will read Knowing God by J.I. Packer (available online for under $15).  The group meets at Brad’s home in Western Springs., on Thursday nights at 7:00pm. Sawdust and Scripture

Explore your faith and scripture in a fun and creative way – through woodworking! Meets roughly every other Sunday afternoon. We discuss Sermon Notes and work on our projects. Courtside Ministry

Come and see God at work in all our lives! The group meets on Monday and Tuesday mornings at the Bridgeview Courthouse, 10220 s 76th Av, Bridgeview, at 8:30am-11:30am. This ministry reaches out and offers prayer, provides scripture, and biblical resources to people in the court system. Young at Heart

For those 55 and wiser! The topic for this winter will be Goliath Must Fall by Louie Giglio. We will be learning how to deal with the “giants” in our lives. The group will meet for six Thursdays from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at church starting February 5 and ending March 12. Light refreshments will be served. Study guides will be available for $14.00. Worship Team

Meets on Thursdays from 6:30pm-7:30pm (all musicians and vocalists are welcome) for an inspirational devotional message that will build up, strengthen, and encourage musicians in their ministry. Contact Pastor Josh for more information.

Young Adults Group

Seeking God Through Prayer and Fellowship: Men’s Group

Small Group Leadership – Brad Rodemoyer
Have you thought about leading a small group, but you’re not quite sure how to get started? Then this group is for you! The group will read Leading Small Groups with Purpose by Steve Gladen (available online $10-$13). This group will explore best practices methods for planning, starting, leading, and growing an effective small group. Works of Love  
Leader Dane Zieman

Open to all, this group will explore Christian love from a philosophical perspective providing insight into how it differs from other forms of love and saves us from isolation and unites us with one another and God. The group will read Works of Love by Soren Kierkegaard (book will be provided to each attendee). The group will meet on Sunday afternoons at 3pm at church beginning February 1. Brothers Day at Mother’s Day Men’s Group Leader: Gary Giovannelli
This men’s group will meet for 8 weeks beginning February 10 at Mother’s Day Restaurant, 8815 Cermak R, North Riverside, at 7pm to 8:30pm on Tuesday nights for dinner, coffee and fellowship. We will dive into discussion on the Sunday Sermon Notes on how we can apply God’s word in our everyday lives, supporting and praying for each other’s needs. For Fathers

This group will be for men who are fathers, with a focus on navigating issues with raising adolescents/teenagers. The group will meet two Saturday mornings a month at 9am until 11am at the Starbucks in Western Springs on 47th St and Gilbert Rd (the location may change if needed). The group will be working through the book Grace Based Parenting by Dr. Tim Kimmel (available online for under $15) as well as some other resources. Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Day by Day: Women’s Group - Leader Susan Borgstrom
This women’s group will read Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Day by Day by Peter Scazzero. This is a 40-day journey to cultivate union with God using 5 simple practices: Silence & Stillness, scripture, devotional reading, a question to consider, and prayer will be practiced with grace to open ourselves more fully to Jesus.  The group will meet on Wednesday mornings at 9:00am to 10:45am at Susan’s home in La Grange Highlands, beginning February 4. The Mom Circle: Brunch Edition

This group is for moms in the early, hands-on years of motherhood – those with babies through early elementary age kids, who are looking for community, encouragement, and support. We’ll meet once a month for kid-free brunch at various locations to relax, connect, laugh and pray for one another. The group will meet 2/21, 3/21, 4/18, 5/16 (the 3rd Saturday of each month).
