THE RETURN ~ Oct. 20-22

What is The Return?

Everyone who is willing & able at EVERY Hope Church campus is called to fast and pray one or more of the three days between Oct. 20-22

PRAY FOR:
  • Personal repentance & revival
    • Revival, renewal and restoration in our church.
    • National repentance and revival
  • A great harvest of salvations through our church in the final ten weeks of 2025
  • Healing in our physical bodies and from emotional wounds.
  • The launch of Hope Church Bridgeport (Sunday, Nov. 16th) & the Bridgeport community food & clothing distribution & prayer event on Sat., Nov. 15th
  • Our key ministries at Hope Church: Kids, Youth, Celebrate Recovery, Women’s, Men’s, Worship Team.
  • Our three current Dinner Churches and the eight new dinner churches we will launch after Easter in 2026.

Early morning prayer each morning at Hope Church LaGrange Monday through Wednesday from 6:30-8:00am

Prayer Ministry Monthly Prayer Meeting on Tuesday night, October 21st from 6:30-8:00pm, featuring Intercessory Worship Leader, Isabel DeLaughter!

The Return concludes with a powerful Midweek service of Prayer and Worship on Wednesday October 22nd from 7-8pm!

TIPS   &   SUGGESTIONS   FOR   FASTING

Focus on prayer & Scripture

Don't just remove food from your day and expect God to move! Dedicate time to read the Bible, pray, and meditate on God's word, replacing your usual meal times with spiritual activities.

Stay Hydrated

Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and avoid dehydration.

*Limit your physical activity during this time. Rest when you can and only engage in moderate exercise. Know your body and be mindful of it during this time of fasting.

Get Creative

Can't fast food due to health reasons? Get creative and fast something else during these three days! Consider fasting television, social media, video games, any books other than Scripture, secular music, or anything else that you find pulls you away from God.
A few more things to consider during this fast:
  • Be Patient: Expect temporary discomforts like hunger pains, dizziness, fatigue, or irritability, especially if you are withdrawing from sugar or caffeine. 
  • Journal Your Experience: Write down your prayers and what you are fasting for to better track God's work in your life.
  • Ease Back In: Avoid overeating immediately after the fast; eat smaller portions to ease back into a normal diet.
