Hope Church in LaGrange is looking for a part time Children's Pastor to oversee and develop our Kids Ministries. We have an outstanding opportunity for growth working with some excellent volunteers to lead a ministry that will bless families in our community.
The right person will
have the skill set, experience, passion and vision to joyfully and creatively
lead the children to grow in their faith in Christ and God’s Word.
The Children's Pastor will oversee the Hope Kids
Ministry from Preschool to 5th Grade. They will lead, develop and cast vision
to a wonderful group of 20+ volunteers and be responsible for all aspects of
ensuring spiritual growth, development, and cooperation of both kids and
volunteers. This would include, but is not limited to- curriculum selection,
volunteer recruitment and development, classroom management, BGMC
goals/incentives, and operational management necessary to ensure synergy, as
well as, consistently looking to improve the weekend children’s services and
experience. They will also work closely with the pastors and staff to ensure
the success of yearly events, such as: VBS, ISM Breakaway Kids Camp and other
special events/services. We also have Royal Rangers and Girls’ Clubs at our
midweek service for K- 6th grade. We are willing to train in some areas.
